Robert's Rules
I'm currently seving as both the Secretary and the Parliamentarian of the full-time Engineering Faculty.
The Secretary is the only school-wide elected officer and is responsible for communicating the meeting agendas, taking minutes, keeping records of meetings, and communicating the Faculty's resolutions on behalf of the Engineering Faculty. The Secretary also acts as Chair pro tem when the Dean is unavailable to lead a meeting.
The Parliamentarian is appointed by the Dean and assists the Dean and the faculty in running meetings in an orderly manner and in accordance with Robert's Rules of Order, the Governance, applicable contracts, and city / state / Federal law.
