Quantum chemistry

Quantum chemistry is the use of first-principles quantum mechanics to study molecules at the atomic level. We are carrying out collaborative research projects involving the study of organic and organometallic compounds and are always keen to collaborate with experimentalists. Density functional theory and perturbation theory have been used to study chirality in bicyclic organic compounds as well as the spectroscopic and structural properties organometallic complexes of chromium and zirconium.
