Civil Engineering - Scale Bridge Design
Each year, Civil Engineering students in Prof. Tzavelis' Bridge Design class (CE-121) build 6ft scale bridges that are tested to failure. The bridges are fabricated and assembled in the student machine shop and are made of wood, aluminum and steel.
