Steam Engine - Sustainable Design

Designed and fabricated by Julien Caubel (ME '12) the steam engine is an exploration in sustainabel design. Julien was able to make a simple steam boiler and engine using repourposed junked engines and scrap metal. The system is designed to be built by craftspeople of rural communities in developing countries. It is intended to be run on agricultural waste to provide small amounts of electricity.
