Project Kutembea*

Objective: To work in multidisciplinary teams to design, fabricate and build low-cost lower limb prosthetics using raw material local to Soroti, Uganda. It must cost < $40, be  robust in rugged terrains, tropical climate, be easy to maintain and production process should be reproducible locally.

*kutembea is "to walk" in Swahili
